Fabian Fegers is primarily engaged in filing, prosecuting and enforcing German and European patents as well as utility models. Among his clients are German and US based mid-sized companies and international corporations. Counseling start-ups and Venture Capitalists is a particular focus of Fabian Fegers. He supports them in IP Due Diligences and in building and managing an IP portfolio. Additionally, Fabian Fegers is regularly involved in patent infringement and invalidity cases.

Fabian Fegers has been honored by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) as “Rising Star 2022”.

Studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, specializing in production and manufacturing technologies, including a stay at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES). Graduated in 2009.

Studied economics at the RWTH Aachen University and the KTH Stockholm with a focus on intellectual property. Diploma thesis in the field of monetary patent valuation, graduated in 2010. Gained practical experience with an OEM automotive company and a leading edge manufacturer of industrial plant construction as well as in the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) and in the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) at RWTH Aachen.

Legal training at Eisenführ Speiser, at the division for patent infringement matters at Mannheim District Court, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and at the Federal Patent Court. Patent Attorney (Germany) since 2013, European Patent Attorney since 2014. Secondment in the USA in 2017 in Law Firms and in a patent department of a Fortune 500 corporation.
