Christian Hanses is primarily engaged in filing, prosecuting, and enforcing German, European and international technical intellectual property rights, as well as opposition and nullity proceedings.
He also advises on matters relating to employee inventions law and has professional experience in preparing FTO, infringement, and validity opinions.
Christian Hanses is the North German Director of CEIPI training in European patent law at the University of Strasbourg.
He is head of the Bremen office of Eisenführ Speiser.
Christian Hanses is fluent in both German and English.
Studied Mechanical Engineering specializing in Aerospace Engineering and Business Administration at the Universities of Braunschweig and Linköping (Sweden). Graduated in 2011 (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur).
Research engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Obtained Dr.-Ing. (Doctor of Engineering) in 2015 from the University of Braunschweig. Thereafter, research engineer with Boeing Research & Technology, Seattle (USA).
Legal experience and training from 2016 until 2019 at Eisenführ Speiser; the University of Hagen; the 2nd Civil senate of the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf; the German Patent and Trademark Office; and the Federal Patent Court. State Examination in 2019. Patent Attorney (Germany) at Eisenführ Speiser since 2020.
