Karin Rosahl specialises in patent litigation, in particular in the field of mobile and wireless communications and video streaming, before the patent litigation chambers of the civil courts and in nullity proceedings before the Federal Patent Court for national and international clients. She has extensive experience in representing patent applications in examination, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office.
In addition, Karin Rosahl is skilled in the evaluation of standard essential patents (SEPs) in the fields of audio and video coding and information technology.
Karin Rosahl was recognised by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) as a "Rising Star" in 2020/21 and as a "Notable Practitioner" in 2022/23 and 2023/24.

Master of Physics and Mathematics from the Technical University in Dresden, Germany, and Loughborough University, UK; focus on renewable energies, fluid dynamics and magnetoresistance; MPhys in 2008.
