In cooperation with Chizai Corp., our attorneys Rainer Fritsche, Manuel Söldenwagner, Christoph Fehn and Tilman Müller have published the textbook “The European Patent Application”. The book of 296 pages describes all relevant topics of the European Patent Convention against the background of the recent case law, provides assistance for drafting, enforcing and appealing European patents and gives an insight into the latest developments of the upcoming Unitary Patent (UP/UPC). Additionally, the textbook contains a detailed chapter about patent infringement proceedings in Germany. The book appears in bilingual format (English and Japanese) and is aimed at clients and attorneys in Japan.
