Eisenführ Speiser strengthens its team with two experienced German attorneys and thus complements its capacities for national and international patent infringement and validity actions. The patent litigation specialists are moving from the mixed law firm Meissner Bolte and will join the Eisenführ Speiser office at UPC location in Munich.

Philipp Rastemborski, LL.M. (Edinburgh) specializes in national and cross-border patent infringement and parallel validity proceedings. His expertise lies in the representation in complex infringement and nullity proceedings in the enforcement of standard-essential patents as well as any antitrust issues related thereto. In addition, he advises on utility model and design law as well as on the protection under competition law. Philipp Rastemborski has been involved in major international disputes concerning the enforcement of standard-essential patents in the mobile phone and automotive sectors as well as in patent disputes in the fields of printer toner, e-cigarettes and hybrid braking systems. For many years, he advised and represented a leading German manufacturer in a litigation campaign concerning child car seat technology.
Furthermore, Philipp Rastemborski has experience in arbitration proceedings and the drafting of license programs and agreements as well as their enforcement also before arbitration courts.
Philipp Rastemborski is the author of numerous articles from patent litigation practice on competition law aspects in patent disputes and is familiar with various technologies. He advises, for example, in the technical field of automotive, video and audio coding, and electronics.

Dr.-Ing. Florian Henke specializes in patent, utility model and design law ,in particular advising medium-sized and large companies on the strategic placement of intellectual property rights, including the drafting of patent and design applications and their representation up to grant. Florian Henke has special experience in the enforcement of patents against infringers and in parallel opposition and nullity proceedings. Florian Henke has become known in particular for representation of the retail company Netto Marken-Discount in patent litigation concerning the German deposit system and by representing the Belparts Group NV in a patent dispute concerning electronic control valves for heating and cooling systems.
In addition, Florian Henke has experience in preparing opinions on validity , infringement and circumvention of patents.
