With effect from 12 November 2013, Eisenführ Speiser has changed its legal form to that of a PartGmbB (Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Berufshaftung – partnership with limited professional liability). This variant of a Partnerschaftsgesellschaft (PartG – partnership) was created by the German parliament by amendment of the Partnerschaftsgesellschaftsgesetz (PartGG – Partnership Act). The amended Act entered into force on 19 July 2013 in accordance with a law introducing the limited liability partnership and amending the laws governing the professions of attorneys-at-law, patent attorneys, tax consultants and certified public accountants.

As a PartGmbB, we are obliged to take out a particularly high level of professional indemnity insurance cover. The minimum insurance cover is € 2.5 million per claim, whereas the minimum cover until now has been € 250,000. Our clients therefore gain from a very high level of insurance protection that is anchored in law.

Over and beyond that statutory minimum, we have taken out professional indemnity insurance for the firm for up to a maximum of € 20 million p.a.

Please note that the name of our firm has altered as a consequence of the change of its legal form to that of a PartGmbB. With effect from 12.11.2013, the full name of our firm is as follows:
