Eisenführ Speiser is extending its circle of partners from within its own ranks with the promotion of attorney-at-law Sönke Scheltz (37). Scheltz has already been strengthening the litigation team at the Hamburg office since 2016.

Sönke Scheltz has been working as a Certified Intellectual Property Attorney since 2015 and advises companies on all issues of patent law. His main areas of expertise include patent infringement and nullity proceedings as well as drafting and negotiating contracts, in particular licence and R&D agreements.

In recent years, Sönke Scheltz has successfully acted for Eisenführ Speiser in various major infringement proceedings, including proceedings before the German Federal Supreme Court for long-standing clients such as Philips and Sisvel.

Sönke Scheltz was appointed Salary Partner with effect from January 01, 2021. The position of Salary Partner was introduced by Eisenführ Speiser to offer a more flexible attorney career model.
