The German association VPP (Vereinigung von Fachleuten des Gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes, Association of Intellectual Property Experts) will be holding a live webinar with attorney-at-law Dr. Volkmar Henke speaking on the topic of exploitation rights of co-inventors. In his presentation, Dr. Henke will be retracing the the development of case law since the judgment "Gummielastische Masse II": What are the effects on the exploitation of an invention if there are several patent owners? Under which circumstances does the individual use of an invention have to be financially compensated? In which case can individual owners grant licences of a jointly-owned patent?
