Eisenführ Speiser has strengthened its patent practice in Hamburg as of 1 May 2023 with patent attorney Dr. Bernhard Pfleiderer joining the team.

Dr. Pfleiderer, a doctoral engineer, specializes in all areas of industrial property protection, particularly infringement disputes, oppositions and nullity proceedings, as well as drafting and prosecution of German, European, and international patent applications. His technical expertise encompasses the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, and medical technology, with a particular focus on integrated circuits.

After years of working in the industry as an integrated circuit designer, inventor, and patent engineer, Bernhard Pfleiderer completed his patent attorney training at Eisenführ Speiser in Bremen from 2003 to 2006 before joining the law firm Prinz & Partner. There, as a partner and head of the Hamburg office, he managed national and international clients, as for example Nike, Texas Instruments, and the European Central Bank, until 2020. Recently, Dr. Pfleiderer was the independent owner of Pfleiderer IP.

At Eisenführ Speiser he continues his work as Of Counsel.
