The launch of the Unitary Patent System has created numerous new possibilities for the protection and enforcement of technical inventions. The commentary on the Unitary Patent System (Luginbühl/Hüttermann) deals not only with the provisions of the Agreement and the Rules of Procedure relating to the Unified Patent Court itself, but also with the development of the new system and provides an insight into the implementing and fee regulations, the budgetary and financial provisions and EU Regulations 1257/2012 and 1260/2012. There is also an excursus on the subject of standard essential patents/FRAND, including comments on the European Commission's draft regulation. Attorney-at-law Dr Michael Schneider contributed to the first edition of the commentary as an author.
The commentary on the unitary patent system (Luginbühl/Hüttermann) has been published by Carl Heymanns Verlag and is available from Wolters Kluwer.
