The Patent attorneys Jochen Ehlers and Till Augustin summarise important decisions and submissions of the Enlarged Boards of Appeal in the annual series "Current Case Law of the Boards of Appeal of the EPO - Notes for Practice". In their first contribution, they assess and discuss, among other things, decision G 2/21, which is extremely relevant for practice, as well as submissions G1/22 and G2/22. In addition, there are reports and comments on current case law, such as on "Interpretation of patent claims" or "Videoconference hearings".
