Studied chemistry at the University of Hamburg; doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Technical University of Berlin in the field of bioinorganic chemistry and catalysis.

Legal training as a patent attorney at leading law firms in Hamburg and Munich; study course "Law for Patent Attorneys" at The FernUniversität in Hagen; further training at a chamber for patent litigation at Munich Regional Court I; further training at the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) and the Federal Patent Court (BPatG). 

Patent attorney since 2021, with Eisenführ Speiser since 2024.
