Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Hanover, specializing in power and process engineering, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, apparatus and plant engineering, including a period of study in Turku, Finland; graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering in 1991; project engineer in Manchester, England.
From 1992 onwards, legal training at Eisenführ Speiser in Bremen, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court in Munich and at the Hamburg District Court. Employed in the IP department of a US company in Ohio. Patent Attorney (Germany) since 1995. European Patent Attorney and European Trademark and Design Attorney since 1999.
