Studied at Technische Universität Braunschweig, graduating with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1983, specialized in electrical machines, power engineering, automation and control systems and in microcomputer engineering; 1983-1985 development and project work in the Krupp corporation.
Legal training in a Hamburg firm of patent attorneys, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and at the German Patent Court.
At Eisenführ Speiser since 1989.
Treasurer of the Federal Association of German Patent Attorneys.
