Studied biology, specialising in molecular biology, at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn in 1997. Doctorate in the field of medical microbiology in 2001. Legal training from 2001 to 2004 at a renowned law firm in Hamburg, at the distance learning university in Hagen, at a chamber for patent litigation at the Regional Court of Hamburg, at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and at the Federal Patent Court. Stay abroad with a US law firm in Chicago in 2005.
Patent Attorney since 2004 and European Patent Attorney since 2006.
