Studied Engineering and Business Administration in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, specializing in design, machine tools and turbo-engines. Graduated with Master’s degree in 1985.

Legal training as a patent attorney at Beyer & Jochem in Frankfurt, at the German Patent and Trademark Office, at the German Patent Court in Munich, and at the Frankfurt/Main Upper District Court. Patent Attorney (Germany) since 1989.

At Eisenführ Speiser since 1995.
