Studied Jurisprudence at the University of Hamburg, taking the First State Examination in Law in 1988, followed by practical legal training in Hamburg, Valencia, Brussels and London, and the Second State Examination in Law in 1992. Attorney since 1992. Certified Intellectual Property Attorney.
At Eisenführ Speiser (Bremen) since 1995. Partner since 2000. Previously legal counsel in the food industry, from 1992 to 1995.
Christian Spintig has specialised in trademark, design and competition law. In the field of trademarks and designs, his professional work covers all subfields, i.e. the elaboration of IP and application strategies, portfolio consulting, managing national, European and international applications, IP licensing, and infringement litigation. The latter involves not only formal warning procedures and litigation concerning trademarks and designs, but also collaboration with the customs and law enforcement agencies in border seizure proceedings and in combating product piracy.
